The body image group helps to create a more positive self-perception in terms of your body image and self-esteem. The group involves discussion and practical intervention using mirrors in order to promote self-acceptance and challenge self-critical thoughts.
There will be 7 fortnightly group sessions with in-between session tasks to complete at home. you wil be given a work book to utilise at home alongside your group.
Although this can be a challenging intervention as you progress through the group, it is likely that it wil be a positive and enjoyable experience for you.
